- Paul has a swim before breakfast. We pack up, then choir practice and head down the road to a local restaurant for lunch on way to airport - great view!
- Airport to transfer to Seychelles - everyone happy with airport internet and their recharge points!
- Seychelles at about 9pm - (and you thought Mauritius was warm!) Tropical heat and humidity at 9pm!
- Queue at the money changing booth – auto teller not working
- Buses to the jetty – two small speed boats to take us the 1 hour crossing to Praslin! Load luggage and people
- 3/4 a moon made it a quite bright night but could still see the Southern Cross, Scorpio, Mars and the Saucepan (Orion) UPSIDE DOWN!

Now dark and Boatman lands us at White Sands hotel – we tell him that is not where we are staying, so he takes us around to another beach and we land on the beach.
Knee deep warm water, unload all the luggage and find that we are on the wrong side of the island for our hotels!
Midnight in the Garden of Eden!
We land like Pirates.
The Creole and French speakers discuss and plan and make phone calls (we by chance had a local person with us) - seven seater cars are summoned, sandy luggage loaded and over the island we go.
Up and over Praslin through the Vallee de Mai, the Coco de Mer valley, in the dark, along the road and arrive at out hotel, Le Relax, about 12:45!
Shower, hit the bed 1:30
Wake at 4am! “2 hours sleep in” gets us to 6am!
