We meet out front at 8:30am for the Ministry of Art and Culture buses to take us to the marina to catch our boat,

The Blue Marlin, for a day of fishing and swimming on Therese Island.

We sing happy birthday to Max!

While we wait for the boat to be readied, some people practice their yoga stretches.

The trip to Thérèse Island gives lovely views of Silhouette and the Mahe terrain – lots of photos.

Another magic place for us to swim and snorkel, then have charcoal grill, fish and chicken and salad, prepared on the boat for lunch.

The news comes through that our gig at La Fontaine has been cancelled, so we can spend another hour on the boat instead of rushing back.

I love the aqua blue Parrot fishes the best!  And the iridescent blue little ones, and the small aqua fishes, large yellow angel fish... so many to see.

We come in and rest a short while then meet at Boababs’s Pizza place on the sand for tea – Chanel’s mother had made us a big slab or Creme Caramel for dessert so we adjourn to Stella and Leah’s place to eat it, with some more La Daube
