We meet Gaetan and Stella at the gate of the Botanic Gardens, waiting for others to emerge from the gardens, and while Therese and Roger elect to catch the bus, Paul and I go with Gaetan to walk to Beau Valon bus stop, rather than catch two busses.
We walk though the 4pm crowd of people coming out from work, all heading to their own bus ride home. This island would not operate if every person had a car – the bus service is an essential service.
