We catch the bus at 9am to go to Lari Bazaar to sing the song – Seychelles TV cameras are there and we serenade the market, stall holders and shoppers alike. Some of the locals sing a bit with us – great fun.
After the performance, we go with Gaetan to shop for our communal meal tomorrow – being Good Friday, not much will be open, so we take this opportunity to buy and cook a “traditional Kreol meal”.
We get two bunches of mackerel (as directed by Gaetan) – all the food is taken back in the car so we don’t have to lug it around.

Then upstairs in the cafe, we have a drink (lime juice – yum!) and then a bit of shopping in the bazaar for clothes, gifts and our Friday’s lunch.
We look around the shops and find a George Camille gallery shop that stocks his work on tee shirts, and get some, and a sarong – and we get a nice turtle shirt for Sophie. We spy a “real” coffee shop and after looking at the local artists’ co-op and getting out some more SR from the teller, we head back to the News Coffee shop for a drink. Then over to the bus station for our bus back - “Glacis via Beau Valon”.
